Mukoya en Marissa

Eindelijk, de jurk mag aan! Vorig jaar tijdens hun verlof al gekocht, nu is het zo ver.

Sweet mother-daughter moments. Proud mom says lovely words before the first look. Love it!

Oh, wow! Van beide kanten was het een grote verrassing wat ze aan hadden. (Never expect this nice dress ánd suit!)

De foto's maakten we in de 'Achtertuin van paleis het Loo'. (This pictures are made in the gardens of the palace).

Die lach van Mukoya is geweldig!

En zooooo fijn dat na al die buiigheid gewoon de hele dag de zon scheen! Beetje 'Afrika-zon' op hun trouwdag. (Really happy with the sunshine, after a lot of rainy days/weeks. Africa's sun is shining on this weddingday))

Oke, ja. Hm. Zo doen ze dus blijkbaar heel vaak daar bij Beautiful Kidz. Sterker nog: ik heb wel 10 verschillende gekke bekken foto's gemaakt! ;-) (Oke, yes. This is the normal way to do at Beautiful Kidz, they said Hahah)

Marissa vond het zó jammer dat de tijd voor de fotoshoot voorbij was. Ze had nog wel een uur door willen gaan. Maar er staat nog meer op het programma! (Marissa would like to make muuuuuúch more photos, but there's more to do on this day)

Feestelijk onthaal van het bruidspaar!

Oma's gezicht spreekt boekdelen bij het zien van het bruidspaar. (And grandma was sooooo surprised. Nice to see!)

Groot compliment voor de moeder van de bruid die de lunch tot een feestje maakte. (The mother of the bride has really done a good job. Perfect lunch!)

Weggeef-moment blijft bijzonder. (In church the bride is given to her husband, special moment)

Zingen. Stil zijn. Luisteren. Vieren. Van de liefde, die we ontvangen van God. (Celebrating Gods love)

De preek was in het Nederlands, de huwelijksbevestiging in het Engels en Marissa beloofde in Mukoya's moedertaal -het Luchazi- haar trouw. (Part of the ceremony was in Dutch, but also in english and... Marissa said the vows in Luchazi, the native language of Mukoya.)

Ik geef je de ring, als teken van trouw.

Mukoya en Marissa zijn in Namibie al voor de wet getrouwd, de trouwfoto stond op de bellenblaas. Altijd feest om bellen te blazen! (Mukoya and Marissa are married in Namibie as well. Their weddingpicture was put on the weddingbubbles)

Grote verrassing voor het bruidspaar: er staat een mooie trouwtaart klaar! (Big surprise for the two: weddingcake! -present of the parents-)

Ringen op de protea: de nationale bloem van Zuid-Afrika. (rings on the protea-flower)

Marissa and Mukoya: thank you for having me on your weddingday. It was a pleasure to see the happiness of you both! Really glad that it was possible for you to celebrate the Dutch part of your wedding here. All the best for you guys, here and in Namibia!
